Hosts Hapoel can consider themselves fortunate to be at this third-round stage of qualifying.
Last week they needed two late goals to win 2-1 against Laci in Albania.
Yet despite this, they head into this contest firmly odds-on for victory in 90 minutes.
That may be doing Motherwell a bit of a disservice. Their season didn’t get off to a strong start – no win in their first five Premiership games – but they’ve since won four of five in all competitions, if you include a penalty-shoot-out success over Coleraine last Thursday.
They will, however, be without defender Bevis Mugabi for this one – he was red-carded in that clash in Northern Ireland.
They have goals in them, as evidenced by Sunday’s 3-0 win at Aberdeen, but a big factor they will have to deal with here in the climate – the temperature at kick-off is forecast to be 27C and that’s a big advantage to the hosts.
With this in mind, it would not be a surprise to see the Scots fade as the game wears on.
They look capable of competing though so a punt in the half time/full time market looks to have legs – namely Draw/Hapoel at 7/2 with Paddy Power.
