Juventus begin the victory lap after securing their ninth-consecutive Serie A title at the weekend. They host out-of-form bottom-half side Cagliari.
With yet another domestic double secured since lockdown, Maurizio Sarri’s thoughts may turn to resting and rotating ahead of next month’s all-important Champions League clash with Lyon, in which they need to overturn a one-goal deficit.
Juventus haven’t been especially convincing of late, with a number of off-colour performances, but they’ve done enough to see the title over the line, bouncing back from a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Udinese in the last midweek outing with a professional and comfortable 2-0 victory over Sampdoria at the weekend to secure the Scudetto.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored and missed a penalty on that occasion, and is still chasing Lazio’s Ciro Immobile for the top scorer award - three behind coming into these final two matches.
The Portuguese is up to 31 goals this season and has been in arguably the best form of his Juventus career since the restart with ten goals in his last ten appearances. He’s 4/7 to score anytime here, 12/5 to notch first, 12/5 to score two or more and 17/2 to strike a hat-trick.
Cagliari were enjoying a strong and impressive season but they’ve failed to recover that since the suspension. Only the bottom three have taken fewer points over the last 10 matches, with just two wins. They also come into this match having failed to win their last six.
Given that, it’s no surprise that Juventus are priced at just 4/7 for the away win here. We recommend backing the champions to get another win here. A second consecutive 2-0 win is priced at 15/2.
