Rangers made light work of their opponents in the first leg of this Europa League qualifier. A 4-0 win means Steven Gerrard’s side would have to do something outrageous not to progress.
That big win away in Gibraltar was Rangers’ first competitive game of the season. Gerrard and his men will hope that this was a win which begins a run of victories that could lead to a possible place in the group stage of the Europa League.
However, the job in this first round is still not over yet. Rangers looked strong in the first leg and they’ll be hoping to continue this when St Josephs visit the Ibrox this Thursday night.
Looking at the betting, there aren’t many offers supporting a Rangers victory that are of any value. The one place to look is the handicap market and even there it’s hard to spot something attractive.
With that in mind, the recommendation is to back Rangers minus four goals at the price of 13/8.
The Scottish side scored four goals away from home so theoretically speaking, they should be able to get as many, if not more, at the Ibrox.
