Gabriel Martinelli looks a big price to add to his impressive goal tally when Arsenal host Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday night.
The 18-year-old Brazilian striker has made a flying start to life in an Arsenal shirt, scoring seven goals in his five starts so far.
He’s yet to start in the Premier League but he’s been regularly afforded game time in the Europa League and Carabao Cup and a home game with a German side who have lost four of their last six provides another good opportunity for him to find the net.
Martinelli is 19/10 to score at any time with 888sport, which looks generous – it’s something he’s managed on four of his five starts and in all three at the Emirates.
It is also worth a nibble of the 13/1 chalked up about him scoring a brace – a feat he’s achieved in three of those five starts to date.
Arsenal won the reverse fixture 3-0 and it isn’t worth being put off by their poor league form – a much-changed team is always put out in this competition and so far Arsenal have won three and drawn one. They’ll book their place in the last 32 with a draw here; a win ensures they finish top.
Another market worth dipping into is the anytime card on given French referee Rudy Buquet is a high carder – he’s shown five or more in 11 of his last 16 UEFA club appointments.
Sebastian Rode is the man to focus on here. The Frankfurt midfielder likes a tackle but commits plenty of fouls – he was one of the most prolific foulers in last season’s competition.
He collected seven cards in 22 games last season and while he’s had just two so far this term, an away match against strong opponents, one which has a strict ref in charge, looks a good recipe for him to find his way into the notebook again.
Rode can be backed at 4/1 which looks more than fair.
