Wolverhampton will be looking to take another massive stride towards Europa League football when they take on an out-of-form Crystal Palace side.
Wolves are currently sitting in sixth place with 56 points to their name. However, with Tottenham, Sheffield United, Burnley and even Arsenal still in contention, Nuno Santo’s men could do with two more victories from their remaining two league games.
Crystal Palace, on the other hand, will be desperate to end the season on a high note. Roy Hodgson’s men have lost six straight games; during which they’ve only managed to score two goals.
Bearing this in mind, it probably won’t come as a surprise to learn that Crystal Palace are priced as the 13/2 underdogs ahead of this encounter. Wolves, meanwhile, are considered the favourites and are available at 1/2.
However, one thing that must be taken under consideration is Palace’s good record against Wolves. The Eagles have won four of their last six games against Santo’s Wolves including their last meeting at Molineux.
Palace may generally be in the midst of some poor results however, their performance during the 2-0 defeat to Manchester United wasn’t bad. In fact, they were denied a goal of their own by an offside call of the thinnest margins.
With that in mind, the 13/2 price should be carefully considered as not only does it offer plenty of value but it’s also no as far fetched as most would have you believe.
Therefore, our recommendation is to back the visitors to win this game and finally end their losing run at the price of 13/2.
