Brendan Rodgers will take charge of his first home game as Leicester boss when they play host to Fulham on Saturday afternoon.

bet365 match odds: Leicester 4/7, Draw 7/2, Fulham 5/1

Rodgers' first match as Foxes manager ended in defeat last Sunday, with Leicester going down 2-1 at Watford and, after that result, they remain 11th in the Premier League table.

There have been concerns that Jamie Vardy could miss the visit of the Cottagers, after suffering an injury following a heavy collision with the Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster.

The former England striker, who has bagged 10 goals this season, needed stitches in his tongue following the clash, but Rodgers insists Vardy will be fit to play on Saturday.

Elsewhere, the Foxes boss reports no fresh injury concerns amongst his squad, with long-term absentees Daniel Amartey and Marc Albrighton the only players missing for the hosts.

Meanwhile, Fulham head to the King Power Stadium 10 points from safety and seeking their first away win of the season. The Cottagers have collected just two points from 15 games on the road this term.

Caretaker boss Scott Parker, also taking charge of his second game, is still without Alfie Mawson although the defender could be back in training later this month after knee surgery.

Andre Schurrle is also sidelined for the Foxes clash having just recovered from a virus, but the German international may be available to return to the squad for next week's home match against Liverpool.

The reverse fixture at Craven Cottage back in December finished in a 1-1 draw, with James Maddison equalising 15 minutes from time after Aboubakar Kamara's first-half goal.

    Leicester City 3-1 Fulham

    Date published: 3/9/2019 6:13:01 PM

Jamie Vardy scored two late goals as Leicester City beat Fulham 3-1 in Brendan Rodgers' first home game in charge of the Foxes.

The result means the Cottagers need a miracle if they are to avoid making an immediate return to the Championship. They have picked up only two points from their 16 away matches so far this season.
Leicester created the first opening in the seventh minute but Youri Tielemans sent his left-footed drive over the bar before Wilfred Ndidi failed to find the target with his effort.
Tielemans broke the deadlock in the 21st minute when Ndidi dispossessed Calum Chambers and played in Vardy, who unselfishly set up the Belgian midfielder to tap the ball home.
Harvey Barnes lashed a shot over the bar and James Maddison fired wide as the home team went close to doubling their lead.
Fulham were fortunate to still be level at half-time and it came as a big surprise when they equalised six minutes after the restart, Floyd Ayite’s deflected shot being too good for Kasper Schmeichel.
Leicester went close to regaining their lead in the 63rd minute when Sergio Rico made a superb save to keep out Barnes’ curling effort.
Fulham were better in the second half and Ryan Babel fired a shot wide of Schmeichel’s goal before the Foxes goalkeeper saved Aleksandar Mitrovic’s header.
However, with 12 minutes remaining, Vardy made it 2-1 when he latched on to Maddison’s throughball before firing a low shot past Rico.
The former Fleetwood Town striker added another goal in the 86th minute after he had been set up by Barnes to condemn Fulham to yet another defeat.
