Four days on after managing to salvage a point in their clash with Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest resume their quest for promotion with a home clash against Millwall.
Following a run of one win in five games, Nottingham Forest currently find themselves eight points off the automatic promotion places and nine points away form league leaders West Brom.
Forest followed up their loss to Charlton with consecutive draws against the Baggies and QPR. Sabri Lamouchi’s men then hit back with a win over Cardiff however, their pursuit of the top two took another blow when they drew 2-2 with Middlesbrough last weekend.
Millwall, on the other hand are still in the hunt for a play-off place but, they will need to overcome stuttering form if they are to make the top six.
Gary Rowett’s side have won just one of their last eight league games. That run extends to nine games when including their 2-0 loss to Sheffield United in the FA Cup.
Nevertheless, the London outfit have proved tough to beat having lost just one of their last five Championship games.
Millwall are five points off the play-offs which is a tad closer than Forest are to the automatic places. That aside, it’s clear that there’s plenty on the line when these two clubs clash this Friday night.
Looking at the betting, the price which offers the most value in the outright market is the draw at 23/10. This is a decent offer for a bet which has landed in two of the three previous encounters between these two sides.
