Following their 4-2 win over Ayr in the quarter-final, Inverness will have their sights firmly set on the Scottish Premiership.
John Robertson’s men are in good form having won three from their last four games; two of those away from home.
In fact, that has been a long standing trend with Inverness who tend to win more games away from home. Their quarter-final with Ayr was all but over as Robertson’s side claimed a 3-1 away win.
For Dundee United, it doesn’t matter whether they are home or away – they are a dangerous outfit wherever they play.
Robbie Neilson’s side have also won three from their last four games – scoring six goals and conceding two in the process.
Looking at the head to head record, it is Dundee who have a slight edge winning two from three encounters. The third clash was won by Inverness and surprise surprise – they did it away from home.
Bearing all this mind, the recommendation is to back the visitors in the betting. An outright Dundee United victory is priced at 29/20.
