Despite only winning one of their last three games, Spain are not a team to ever underestimate as they look to rediscover their form of old.
Consecutive 3-2 defeats to both Croatia and England saw Luis Enrique’s men miss out on a semi-final spot in the Nations League by a single point. What this shows is that the manager still has a long way to go before turning the team into a Barcelona-esque machine.
Norway, on the other hand, are slowly beginning to find some consistency. The years 2016 and 2017 have been the two worst years in Norwegian football history. During this period, the country plunged to its worst ever FIFA ranking of 80 and endured defeats to such opponents as Azerbaijan, Northern Ireland and North Macedonia.
However, since the start of 2018, Lars Lagerback’s side have completely turned thigs round. During this time, Norway have played 10 games of which they won eight, drew one and also lost one.
Their good form has seen them earn promotion in the Nations League and will now join the likes of Germany, Croatia and Poland in league B.
Despite that, the team is still long odds in the betting with bookmakers pricing Norway at the 18/1 mark. That price is certainly justified when taking into account the vast gulf in quality between the two teams.
With that in mind, the betting recommendation is to back the hosts to claim victory by four or more goals.
