Michael O’Neill’s side kicked off their campaign with a comfortable 2-0 win over Estonia before a 2-1 victory over Belarus. Northern Ireland then earned a second win over Estonia (2-1), which sees them top the group – three points ahead of Germany.
Despite playing at home, Belarus are considered the slight underdogs in this contest. This is following a rather underwhelming start to the qualifying campaign with the team losing all three games so far.
What’s worse for Belarus is the fact that they have only managed to bag one goal – however, this did come against Northern Ireland.
Looking at the betting, the recommendation is to back an away win by a margin of one goal. That is currently priced at 10/3 which is a good offer considering this bet has landed in Northern Ireland’s last two games.
